Hi Families, We have opened up bookings for After School Care in Term 2 & April School Holidays and we would love to have your child/ ren to join us!

Our After School Programme currently runs Mondays to Thursdays at Devonport Plunket. We’ve also had interest in before-school care and we are currently exploring this, there is an option to express interest in the Term 2 booking form!

Our After School Programme offers a balance of fun, daily hosted group activities and endless free play options. Each afternoon, children can take part in engaging hosted activities such as science/ art experiments, creative crafts, DIY projects, sensory play, baking, and more. Alongside this, they can unwind and enjoy free play with options like LEGO, Hot Wheels, Beyblades, Barbies, magnets, trains, sports, water play, or playing with friends. We also provide a nutritious afternoon tea each day, and families are kept connected through WhatsApp groups with regular updates and photos.

Our School Holiday Programme runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the warm and welcoming Devonport Plunket space. Each day includes awesome activities AND water play! We offer delicious meals and snacks as part of our programme, this includes a breakfast snack, morning tea, pre-lunch snack, lunch, post-lunch snack, afternoon tea, and an optional snack later on!

Voice Drama April Holiday programmes

Come along for some jungle fun and play in the sun!

From performing, painting, Lego, team games, to crafts and building.

Each day is thoughtfully structured with opportunities for children to choose from their favourite activities.

Drop the children off between 8.30 – 9.00am with morning tea and a packed lunch (we’ll provide afternoon tea). The workshops run until 3.00pm, but children are welcome to ‘stay and play’ until 4.30pm with adult supervision.

Our Holiday Dance Programme will be running on April 7th at Fort Takapuna Barracks, and we would love your help in sharing it with families who may be interested.

This fun-filled day is designed to keep kids active, creative, and social during the holidays. Throughout the day students will enjoy:

Dance classes
Team games and activities
Arts and crafts
Opportunities to make new friends

Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Fort Takapuna Barracks

$65 per person (discount for siblings)
Maximum of 20 children to ensure a fun and supportive environment

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Guitar and Ukulele Lessons at Belmont Primary School

Musiqhub offers Guitar and Ukulele tuition to students at Belmont Primary School with experienced tutor Dave Gatman.

Students learn a range of traditional and contemporary styled songs and techniques where they play together as a group and take turns to play to the group as individuals. This format creates a relaxed and fun environment for students to learn in and is popular in schools around the country.

The lessons are during school hours on Tuesdays and are available to students in Year 2 and older.

Dave has a few spaces for Term 4 lessons. If you are interested, please contact Dave on 021 2221456, or dave.gatman@musiqhub.co.nz.

This Sunday, March 8, Devonport Scouts is holding an open day with free activities, including a mudslide, and a mobile climbing wall.

Come by bike and you can have it safety checked.
